Foggy Bridge will offer a diverse winemaking program that reflects the winery's location as the gateway to California's premier growing regions. The working winery will be fully operational when we open our facility, at which time locals can view the winemaking process first-hand.
The Foggy Bridge portfolio includes the following tiers:
G.E.O.
These wines, named G.E.O. (Green. Earth. Origin.), are produced from Foggy Bridge's own San Francisco Bay vineyard located in the Livermore Valley. Currently organically farmed, this vineyard will be certified organic by 2010. Wines will include a Chardonnay, Syrah, Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Classic
Foggy Bridge is partnering with a select group of wineries to create wines reflective of California's unique winegrowing regions. The Classic tier features noble varieties from distinctive California appellations, including a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Bien Nacido Vineyards Santa Maria Pinot Noir, and Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.
Tradewinds
The Tradewinds line showcases exciting, limited production wines that have blown into the Bay from exotic locales across California and beyond. These "discovery" wines are designed to be seasonal and will rotate frequently. Try the Bordeaux-style blend from Mendocino's Yorkville Highlands and Riesling from Washington.
